Wood and metal (copper) printer's plate used to transfer an image to paper. The copper plate has been engraved with an image and is intended for use in an offset printing press. The plate is attached to a wooden block with small nails so as to fit in the printing tray of the press.
The plate was used in printing the Lacey school annual "Rosebud," and is a picture of the 1928 boys baseball team. First row (L to R) Donald Minor, Lawrence Fosdick, Earl Weatherbie, Clifford Radcliff, Archie Watson, James Levesque, Robert Watkins, Harold Yates, and Fred Daly. Second row Mr. W. G. Miller, Billy Dent, Herman Hangge, Jack Watson, Urban Hicks, John Danell, and John Waters.
