Object Name Container, Cosmetic

Description Metal container holding talcum powder. The object is a square metal tube standing upright. At the top of the tube is a pressed metal cap with a round dispenser that has holes that line up with other holes in the metal below. On the dispenser is a stylized letter "M". On the shoulders of the cap are four more such letters. The object is painted green and white with the sides being alternate stripes. On side one are the words "Mennen talcum for men Neutral tint won't show on your face". On side two is "container made in U.S.A." and in very small letters near the bottom "10 A X" or "10 A K". On side three is "Mennen talcum for men Use after the bath". On side four is "4 oz net weight", "trade mark" on either side of an image of a man, "The mennen Company Newark N.J. U.S.A Toronto, Ont. Can. made in U.S.A. Pat. 1806802".
