Wood and metal (copper) printer's plate used to transfer an image to paper. The copper plate has been engraved with an image and is intended for use in an offset printing press. The plate is attached to a wooden block with small nails so as to fit in the printing tray of the press.
This plate was used in printing the Lacey School annual "Rosebud" and is a picture of the 1930 graduating class. First row (L to R): Kunick Nelson, Kenneth Schirmer, Lewis Hartman, Bobby Jackson, and Eugene Akers. Second row: Miriam Gibson, Geneva Sheppard, Helen Heim, Hildur Larson, Laura Lockwood, Helen Wanschers, Leona Peterson, Ardra Myers, Catherine Parsons, and Gene Huntamer. Third row: Mr. Claude M. Manley, Dorothy Wolfenbarger, Ethel Craney, Mr. Willard Miller, Lorraine Stark, Emma Hangge, Marie Bowker, and Miss Margaret Flynn.
