Wood and metal (copper) printer's plate used to transfer an image to paper. The copper plate has been engraved with an image and is intended for use in an offset printing press. The plate is attached to a wooden block with small nails so as to fit in the printing tray of the press.
The plate was used in printing the Lacey school annual "Rosebud," and is a picture of the 1928 graduating class. First row (L to R) John Dannell, Frank Daly, Harold Yates, Urban Hicks, Jack Watson, Donald Miner, and Ervin Jackson. Second row Ruth Heusman, Elaine Stewart, Elsie Huntamer, Betty Ann Dent, Helen Barnard, Mabel Rackham, and Ruby Turnow. Third row Mr. Willard G. Miller, Charles Williams, Earl Weatherbie, Herman Hagge, Archie Watson, Billy Dent, John Waters, and Bob Maloney.
